Mission: Afghanistan - Event Overview
a powerful, immersive exhibit that chronicles Canada’s military involvement in Afghanistan from 2001–2014. More than 40,000 members of the Canadian Armed Forces served during this period — with 163 losing their lives and many others returning home with visible and invisible wounds.
This interactive and deeply moving mobile exhibit features:
Five multimedia touchscreen stations
450+ vivid bilingual stories told by the men and women who were there
Modular layout adapted to our gallery space for accessibility and impact
On-site reflection wall and guestbook to honour those who served

Admission by donation – All welcome
Thanks to grant support from Veterans Affairs Canada and in partnership with local businesses, this event is accessible to all, with admission by donation to support gallery programs for veterans and first responders.
